Privacy Policy

This policy applies to thefundedmethod.com and every page on it, to our email list, to our paid products (Underwriting in 60 Seconds, The Submission Vault, The Funded Method Accelerator), and to information you send us through advertising forms or direct messages on Instagram and Facebook.

• Name and email address · when you request a free resource, subscribe to our email list, submit a form on an advertisement, or send us a direct message on Instagram.
• Billing information · when you buy a product. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Account information · an email address and login credential if you purchase a product with a members’ area.
• Anything else you choose to send us · for example the contents of an application form, an email, or a direct message.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, sensitive personal information: government identification numbers, financial account numbers, health information, or the bank statements or financial records of any third party.

When you visit the site we and our service providers may collect your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, the pages you view, and the dates and times of your visits. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs.

We advertise on Meta platforms (Instagram and Facebook). If you submit an instant form attached to one of our advertisements, Meta passes us the information you confirmed in that form, typically your name and email address. Meta’s own handling of your data is governed by Meta’s privacy policy, not by this one.

If you comment on or message one of our Instagram posts, we may use an automated messaging tool to reply and to send you the resource you asked for.

• To send you the free resource, email, or product you requested.
• To deliver, support, and improve products you have purchased.
• To send marketing emails about our products and content. Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
• To respond to your questions.
• To measure how our advertising and content perform, in aggregate.
• To meet our legal and tax obligations, and to detect and prevent fraud.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing.

We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, for the purposes above:

• Stripe · payment processing
• MailerLite · email delivery and list management
• Supabase · account and product-access database
• Vercel · website hosting
• Meta Platforms · advertising delivery and lead forms
• ManyChat · automated Instagram messaging

We may also disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business.

We use cookies that are necessary for the site to function (for example, keeping you logged in) and cookies that help us understand site usage. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Refusing necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working.

We keep your information for as long as you remain on our email list or hold access to a product, and afterwards only as long as needed to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

• Unsubscribe from marketing email using the link at the bottom of any email.
• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of that information.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.

To exercise any of these, email hello@thefundedmethod.com. We will respond within 30 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a right.

If you are a California resident, you have the rights described above under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to delete it. We do not sell personal information as that term is defined by the CCPA.

Our products are for adults. The site and our products are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date above. If the change is significant we will tell subscribers by email.
